These are two unused sketch proposals for the annual Sea Hear Now event in Asbury Park, NJ. The idea was to draw something ocean related to present on a wooden panel for a show on the beach.
These sketches are part of the "Butterfly" series. I drew the hand with graphite on paper and then scanned it onto my computer to edit it digitally. This is usually my go-to method for drawing and making collages.
These set of paintings are from my "Emotion" series. I love drawing and painting portraits of people so I chose a few poses that I thought viewers could connect with.
